David Cutright

David Cutright is a Senior Wireless Training Specialist at GigaWave Technologies.  Since February of 2006 he has conducted training for Cisco Systems’ Wireless LAN product set.  He is a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor (CCSI).  During his time at GigaWave Technologies, David has trained Cisco Employees, Cisco distributors, Cisco premier partners, Cisco resellers and Cisco end-users.  David has his CCNA, CCDA, CCDP, CCSP, CWNA, CWSP, CWDP and working on CWAP.

In addition to his course delivery responsibilities at GigaWave, David Cutright has acted a lead SME for the development of the Cisco Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN) course.

Prior to starting his career with GigaWave Technologies, David spent several years at Triangle of Technology Academy as a Senior Instructor and IT Department Head. There he provided management and administration of network security, routing, switching for company network and classroom, and lab equipment. Monitored and directed activities of Technical Instructors as needed and provided input and technical assistance for the development and modification of technical courses and support materials.

Prior to Triangle of Technology Academy, David worked for Advanced Information Systems where he was part of a training program and served as Master Instructor to teach a new cadre of up to 30,000 federal baggage screeners how to operate the EDS and ETD machines that were installed at airports nationwide. AIS services included: curriculum development & content modification; classroom instruction; supervision of follow-on on-the-job training

David is a retired Marine and  brings over 25 years experience in radio frequency, electronics repair and both wireless voice and data communications with a broad knowledge of both licensed and unlicensed wireless systems to the classroom. David had two tours as a Marine Air Traffic Control Communication Instructor and obtained Master Training Specialists from the Department of the Navy.   David maintains a 4.80+ average instructor rating out of a maximum rating of 5.00 in the Cisco Certified Systems Instructor rating system.  Cisco Systems requires a minimum rating level of 4.25 in the Cisco Certified Systems Instructor rating system.  The ratings are based upon student evaluations.
